Bright and sparkly solid hoops, a great present for a new hooper! They come in three sizes – 38″ 42″ and 46″
Budget hoops ($35)
The most basic hoop we can make! They come in our most popular size – 42″ and with one spiral of grip tape
Kids hoops ($30)
Great for age 5-12, and also for adults to use on the arms. They are colourful and durable, and come in one size – 34″

Hula Hoop Sizes
Everyone can hoop – the trick is to get the right size! With our perfectly-weighted adult-sized hoops, even those that “never could” will be spinning in no time. Here are some of our favourite hoopers pictured with the size they started on. Their heights range from 4’10″ to 5’10″ with hoops 38″, 42″ and 46″. Generally, bigger hoops are easier to use, and the bigger the person, the bigger their hoop! If you’re hooping for the cardio workout go smaller and if you are hooping for relaxation, go bigger. Whatever you pick you’ll get used to and love!
- Beginner – 42″ – Our most popular size! Great for most women, and active dudes!
- Speedy – 38″ - For petite hoopers (around 5′), fast movers, and experienced hoopers
- Groovy – 46″ – For extra-curvy hoopers, and those who like a slower groove

Butterfly hoops ($50)
Lighter, faster, smaller hoops that are great for hand hooping. They are similar to the kids hoops, a few inches bigger (36″), a handful more sparkly, and they twist-down to half their size. We love to tape these with one sparkle tape and one grip tape
Polypro hoops ($60 or 2/$100)
Super light, super fast, super responsive hoops for experienced hoopers looking to bring a sharper, more precise quality to their hooping – great for fast breaks, defined movement and quick transitions. Their lightness also makes them a great challenge for body awareness as you’ll need to know where the hoop will be before it gets there. Available in your size, up to 38″. Our favourite way to tape these is in one solid metallic colour with grip on the inside of the hoop.
Minis ($55)
Come in pairs for poi-style double hooping. Our favourite size is 27″, small enough to clear the ground with a fully extend arm, and big enough to keep up with! Poi spinners will prefer a smaller 20-22″ hoop for buzzsaws
Fire Hoop ($180)
A set of 5 quick wicks to make any hoop into a fire hoop! These are made by our friends at Synergyand can be quickly attached or removed from a regular hoop, making a fire hoop that is cleaner to travel with, and can change sizes as quickly as your taste in music!

Glow Hoop ($125)
Light up the night with these LED-filled glow hoops. They are available in rainbow (seen here), green/blue/white and pink/blue/white in 38″ and lightweight 35″. Contact Mandy to order your own, orders go in every few months!

What size is right for me?
You can check out the sizes tab to figure out which size is right for you. Bigger hoops are easier to use because they move slower, smaller hoops move faster and are better for tricks with the hands.
How are these different than toy store hoops, and why do they cost so much more?
The main difference is that these hoops are easy to keep up on the waist. They are bigger and heavier than their toy-store cousins, which makes them much more fun to use for exercise, dance, or meditation. The cost reflects their durability. Both adult and kid hoops are are built to last for many seasons of outdoor and indoor fun. Each is hand-made locally with North American materials, then shaped and hand-taped with super sparkles and fairy wings by happy elves in downtown Toronto.
How much do your hoops weigh?
A 42″ ninja hoop weights about 700grams, 1.5lbs. Our hoops are perfectly weighted to keep you moving through high-energy dancing and eye-popping tricks, with a smooth inner surface for comfortable hand, arm, chest and knee hooping.
What colours do you have?
We have all colours, too many to list! Yes – we have purple, 4 types of purple sparkle to be exact. From firey to watery and fluorescent to stealth, let us know what you’re feeling and we’ll make a hoop up for you. You can send colours, images, feelings or ideas and we’ll translate them into an artful hoop creation. Some hoopers tell us exactly what they’d like (ninja hoops have 2 sparkle tapes and one grip tape). Some give us a colour and a feeling (like “orange and firey”, or “sexy, sultry purple on purple”). Some will send a favourite painting. And some will tell us a story about a beautiful moment or an upcoming adventure they are taking with their new hoop!

How do I pick a hoop?
Ahh. Tough one. There are many options here, we know. You can visit a retail location to try out a hoop and let serendipity help you choose a colour. Whichever hoop you pick, it will be a good one. If you get hooked on hooping, as many do, you are probably going to want another hoop for a change of rhythm and to share with friends. So don’t stress too much about the colour, more hoops will follow
Do you do gift certificates?
Yes! You can order a ninja hoop and let the recipient pick the colour. We will send you a card to slide into a card to let them know a hoop is ready to be born!
